Information about Rebecca
I am an Exeter University graduate that received a 2:1 for my degree. Since completing my teacher training at the outstanding training institution the Surrey SCITT, I have gained three years of experience teaching lower key stage two students in particular ( year 3 and 4). Within this time, I have worked with a vast range of children with diverse learning needs and abilities. I am patient, empathetic when children find something challenging and I have a great determination and see great satisfaction in helping children understand an area of learning more clearly.
I feel I am confident at teaching all areas of the primary curriculum, so please contact me if you think I am a good fit for your child.
Preferably, I would like my students to be in the Wimbledon area since I am teaching full time. I am available evenings and I am happy to come to you directly or tutor online.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Experience: 1 year teaching in year three assisting a class teacher, where there was a high level of children with special needs.
2 years as a class teacher in a state primary school teaching a diverse range of children from all types of backgrounds and abilities. I have been observed by senior leaders of the school and my lessons have been assessed using the Ofsted framework as outstanding. In recent assessments, a considerable amount of my class have made excellent progress in maths, writing and reading despite the challenges of the pandemic.
