To tell a little bit about me, I was born in Madrid and I have always loved foreign languages, especially English, and the English-speaking countries. I love travelling and I always wanted to live abroad and teach Spanish as a foreign language. After studying English Philology, I really enjoyed the subjects of linguistics and teaching methodology and I decided to do a postgraduate course in teaching. My teaching experiences have been very positive, and I realized how wonderful and fulfilling was to be able to share my own culture with the students and how much they enjoyed learning about others in order to realize about their own identity. The different educational systems I worked with have taught me a more dynamic way of working with my students and of implementing technology as a daily day basis. My former job in Marymount International School of London has provided me with an invaluable insight into different teaching styles and assessment strategies. I am currently teaching Spanish online to adults and younger students in Oustchool. Online teaching is an are of education that let you use many different resources such as electronic magazines or interactive activities and I am really enjoying it.
It is my aim to combine my range of experiences with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic and approachable educator who will make a positive contribution to my students´ learning. I believe my academic achievements and experience to date will provide a solid foundation to build on and transfer my knowledge and skills into providing the best learning environment. My own academic and professional experiences have strengthened my belief in the great importance of education and helped me develop a number of key skills and qualities which have enabled me to develop as a scholar and a person. I am diligent, determined, committed and feel that I can offer a significant contribution to the competences required to be a successful Spanish tutor.

Availability: I am happy to offer lessons anytime during the day or during the weekend.

Experience: My teaching experience has been very positive and fulfilling. I started working with 3-4 year olds in a primary school afterschool programe as an English teacher, and, after a year, I went to the United Kingdom to work as a Spanish teaching assistant in secondary schools with 12-18 year olds for three years. After being in England, I moved to the United States to teach Spanish to 3-18 year olds in Kentucky for 3 years and Spanish to 12-13 year olds in Arizona for another 3 years. During my last three years, I have been working in international schools, first in Germany, teaching English as a Second Language to 9-10 year olds, Spanish Mother Tongue to 7-8 year olds and Spanish to 11-16 year olds. Later on, I came to London, where I have been recently teaching Spanish and Personal, Social, Health and Economics Education to 11-16 year olds.
