I am an outgoing, 23 year-old graduate from Durham University. I studied Classics and achieved a 2:1 (Hons). While I was at university I also studied basic Japanese. I love learning about different and new cultures. I have been singing for my entire life, having been a chorister at a young age. I still sing nowadays in choirs, barbershops and the odd musical theatre produciton.
I am a very positive, smiley person who gets on well with people easily. People and cats.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: While at university I studied for and completed a TEFL qualification. Following university I taught English as a foreign language in Hong Kong to students of a lower socio-ecomonic background. I taught primary, secondary and post-secondary school students in a classroom setting, planned and delivered lessons, and created events for students to partake in in order to maximise their English use. I helped to tutor many students while in Hong Kong, helping with homework, grammar checking and creating fun activities 1 on 1 too.

Outside of the classroom I have also tutored Latin and Biology. Having studied Latin at university this is my strongest subject. I tutored Biology while I was studying for an A-Level qualification, in which I achieved an A.
