Reliable, friendly and patient teacher of GCSE and A` Level English offering online tuition. I have also examined many papers including those from recent GCSE and A` Level specifications. Over the years, I have taught in a range of settings, mostly in state secondary schools but also in alternative provision such as in pupil referral units, other centres and as a peripatetic teacher of students educated out of school.

Currently, I am teaching online privately, for a charity and another organisation. I can teach using Zoom, Skype or Google Classroom/Meet. I teach individuals and small groups, usually using shared documents and a webcam but also using `chat` for less confident students. Resources provided and individual feedback given on work completed.

I am subscribed to the DBS update service, having been cleared since 1997.

Availability: I teach from 9-5 during school terms, and so I am available for tuition after 5pm weekdays.

Saturday tuition available, but not on a regular basis.

School holiday availability varies.
