Information about David

Fully up-to-date with the new 2015 A level specifications. Now accepting new students!

Hi,

I`m David and I study Biology at University College London. I provide tuition at GCSE and A-level.

I have been providing tuition in London since I started university 3 years ago. Not only did I help many students achieve their required grades I also discovered more about these subjects by tutoring than I would have otherwise.

I take great interest in the education of my students and approach all of their problems with empathy. Not only do I answer their questions and provide model answers, I help them improve their study skills.

In 2012 I was chosen to represent Ireland at the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad, held in the University of Maryland, USA. This is a competition where all the best young chemists from around the world compete and complete practical and written examinations. I spent three years in the military after this and gained very useful skills in leadership and management.

I am also hold interests in foreign languages. I speak elementary Polish and French. In June 2016 I studied for my CELTA certificate (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). This course provided me with useful teaching techniques that can be used to teach any subject. In August 2016 I worked in Warsaw as an English tutor teaching English one-to-one.

I look forward to hearing from you!

David
