My approach is to help pupils understand maths at a deeper level in various contexts so that they are able to have confidence in answering questions independently and to apply mathematics in the real world where appropriate. From my extensive work with students I am able to quickly build friendly and professional relationships with them to enable them to want to work cooperatively with me. I have excellent subject knowledge of maths GCSE and A-Level.

Availability: After school and evenings.

Experience: I have taught in 2 inner city London schools Mathematics where I have been graded as an outstanding teacher in both schools. One of these schools had the highest ranking for students’ progress in mathematics in the whole country. I have also taught at two Folkestone schools, securing roles as head of maths and lead practitioner of maths. I have taught at comprehensive schools and grammar schools so I have experience of teaching a wide range of ability. I have experience teaching both larger groups and helping supported study in schools which is more one to one. I have privately tutored previously mainly through word of mouth recommendations and all of tutees have achieved their desired goals in maths.
