I am friendly, patient and passionate about teaching. I enjoy working with both children and adults and am good at explaining things. I am positive and encouraging and want to make maths enjoyable as well as comprehensible.

I am good at tailoring my teaching style to each individual, in order to keep up motivation and boost confidence.

I am 22 years of age and graduated this year from Newcastle University with an integrated masters degree in Maths & Stats, achieving a 2:1.

Experience: During university holidays last year, I did one-to-one tutoring for two children, one in Year 7 and one in Year 10.

I did a 4-month placement at Whickham secondary school in Newcastle, working for the maths department as a teaching assistant, for which I received excellent feedback. This involved working with many children from Year 7 to Year 13, many of whom were fond of me and sad to see me go!
