I am a friendly, approachable and experienced teacher / tutor. I am passionate about education and working with young people.

Experience: I have tutored students for both History and English and have up to date knowledge of current specifications. I have exam marking experience for GCSE History. I have nearly twenty years of teaching experience. I have taught GCSE and A-level History and more recently GCSE English. My students achieve excellent results. I can provide in depth support on exam technique, essay writing and coursework.
I have taught the following topics: Russian Revolution, Soviet Union, Cold War, Britain and Ireland, Nazi Germany and Medicine through Time.

I have experience of GCSE English Literature and Language.

In addition I can support students in other subject areas that are predominately essay based such as English, Politics and other Humanities.
