I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor of Modern Foreign Languages and have passed on my enthusiasm and passion for the subjects to a range of learners throughout my career. I place an emphasis on the cultural and diverse nature of French and Spanish-speaking societies through my teaching as well as expertise in teaching the grammar of the language to ensure my students can achieve to a high level.


I am available for on-line tutoring, particularly for those wanting conversation and feedback and also learners wishing to continue their studies at GCSE and A level or going into their last year of study at these levels.

Availability: Tuesdays all day, Thursday morning and Friday afternoons. Also available for weekday evening work. Weekend work will also be considered.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: 20 years teaching experience of French and Spanish at all levels to A Level, most recently as Head of Department in a Sixth Form College. I have also taught intensive GCSE courses to students in just one year, with an excellent record of success.
