I am a retired teacher of Philosophy and Religious Studies. I enjoy tutoring and teaching one-to-one and I miss teaching so am offering my services as a tutor for A level students following any of the UK exam boards. My preference is to focus on the major philosophers and theologians. But it is also important to offer focussed revision for each student towards exam times. Most lessons are conducted online via Zoom but occasional live meetings with all students are successfully arranged on an occasional basis. I also offer classes in spirituality and meditation.

Experience: When working in schools I taught mainly the GCSE curriculum and Christianity and Buddhism in the A level curriculum. However I am very interested in and knowledgeable about all religions and systems of thought. I am interested in teaching meditation which is a universal practice. Biblical Hebrew is something I studied at university as part of Bible Studies - recently I have revised it to make it accessible to new learners, as it is now possible to study and be examined in Biblical Hebrew at secondary level.
