Hello, I am an experienced primary school teacher and I tutor children from 7-13 years in any aspect of Maths and English - to support the mastering of key areas of the curriculum
- to give general support and boost confidence
- to prepare children for entrance exams or the 11+ exams

Since September 2016, I no longer work in school but instead I work as a 1:1 tutor.

I make learning fun and relevant to facilitate children`s learning and understanding of the different concepts.

I assess a child`s needs at the start to tailor the sessions appropriately.

Experience: A qualified primary school teacher, I taught in Key Stage 2 for 15 years (7 years in Year 6) and in Key Stage 1. Whilst in school, as well as being Deputy Head for 7 years, I led the development of both maths and English in my school for several years including the implementation of the new National Curriculum and changes to the assessment format.

I have proven success in school, and now as a tutor, of raising standards and enabling children to progress in their learning.
