Hi, I’m Sophy, an English Teacher based in South London. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and a CELTA from Oxford. I have a passion for travelling and passing on my acquired knowledge of the English language to others. I cover all skills from writing and listening to reading and speaking. Whichever level you are, I can help you to learn English. I look forward to hearing from you.

Experience: Once I obtained my English Language degree I then went on to complete my CELTA. With both qualifications I knew I could pursue my passion of travelling with teaching. I taught English as a Second Language in Beijing to kids and teens for one year from July 2016 - July 2017. After returning back to the UK I knew I wanted to experience a new culture so moved to Melbourne not long after, where I was teaching General English at the prestigious Australian Catholic University for 9 months. During my time abroad, I also private tutored international students; specifically grammar and pronunciation practice. I taught English to international students in Oxford and held one-to-one classes with Spanish students who had come to the UK during the summer to better their English. I regularly tutor native and international learners face-to-face and online in my spare time.
