Information about Desmond
I am an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher with a wealth of experience in the classroom and in school leadership.
I have always found small group and one-on-one teaching particularly rewarding, as it offers the opportunity to directly and swiftly see the impact of high quality teaching. The foundations of my teaching have always been rooted in the positive learning relationships that I establish with students. I create dynamic lessons that students enjoy and achieve well in.
As a Lead Practitioner, it is my responsibility to make sure that the standards of Teaching & Learning are as high as possible in my classroom and throughout the school. As a tutor, I can offer students the opportunity to make rapid and sustained progress, by creating high quality learning experiences that enthuse learners, build core knowledge and develop the skills necessary to achieve highly at all levels of Science.
