As a qualified linguist, with a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages, I worked for several years as a senior level bilingual PA, initially for a French Canadian stockbroker in the City of London and then for the French cognac house Remy Martin, also in London. Following a move to Hertfordshire, I became PA to the Managing Director of Mothercare International - the division of Mothercare UK responsible for the company`s worldwide franchise operations. I now live in Pennine West Yorkshire with my husband and two children, and have spent the last few years teaching French and Spanish as a private tutor.

Experience: I have worked as a private French and Spanish tutor for over 15 years. My clients include children and teenagers, and I have helped many students to GCSE and A Level success. In addition I have tutored many adults, most of whom wish to learn the language because they have a holiday property in France or Spain, they visit the country regularly, they intend to move to the country, they have family members there, or just for fun! I have, therefore, taught at all levels - from absolute beginners to `A` level students needing a bit of extra help. As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, I have gained experience giving lessons online, and can now offer lessons via Zoom, Skype or in person.
