An Advanced Skills English teacher with teenage children of my own, I have worked from home as a private tutor and proofreader since 2010. So far I have not had a single student miss the coveted grade C at GCSE or not get the required grade at A Level.

I work with students individually or in groups at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level, where I have a particular passion for literature. Students and their parents tell me I am inspirational, and many past students have gone on to study English at a higher level. I am a keep fit freak, a cook and a prolific reader (I also write) and am obsessed particularly with Samuel Beckett, Shakespeare and Stephen King...My current day job is as a copywriter and proofreader.

I`m passionate, energetic, committed, easy to get on with, funny and always provide drinks and biscuits. I find they help with most things in life.

Availability: Very flexible. I always try to fit in with others` busy lives.
