I am an intelligent and articulate Englishman with a passion for teaching, specializing in philosophy and religious studies and history, and would be delighted to take on serious and hardworking pupils in any of the above areas. It will be my great honour and delight to help tutees to achieve their full academic potential, with maximal diligence and an attitude which always goes the extra mile.

Availability: I am highly flexible as to my availability, and will gladly fit around tutees and their convenience. As a general rule of thumb, I am available on Saturdays and on all weekdays, excepting Wednesday evenings.

Experience: I possess ten GCSEs, four A-levels and, as of this July, an high first-class honours degree in Theology from King`s College London. During my period of study at King`s I received seven separate awards for academic excellence, including the awards for highest overall marks in the first and second years of my degree programme, the Shelford Prize for best performing student overall on my BA course, and the Trench Greek Testament and Bishop Collins Memorial prizes for best New Testament and ecclesiastical history papers, respectively, as well as qualifying as an Associate of King`s College. I have served three years as an Academic Representative within the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, and in my third year was elected Student Chairman of the departmental Student-Staff Liaison Committee. I have been privileged to hone my interpersonal, presentation and communication skills by volunteering for the past six years as a Community Champion for Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards, a role which has balanced community engagement and public education with administrative work. I have also regularly taught AS and A2 philosophy classes at my local secondary school and helped at intensive GCSE history coursework sessions (references available).
