I am a highly experienced English teacher with a continued passion for the subject. I`m married with a daughter who is currently about to start her GCSEs. Having been a Head of English for nine years I`ve decided to diversify into private tuition.

Experience: I`ve 26 years` full-time experience as a Secondary School English teacher, working in a range of schools both in England and China. I have both taught and had managerial responsibilities for curriculum development in KS3, GCSE, iGCSE, MYP, IB, and A-Level. As Head of English at both The Skinners` School, Kent and Dulwich College, Shanghai, I have demonstrated the ability to teach students and run departments to the highest academic standards. During lockdown, I`ve developed my pedagogy, assessment and resources to teach effectively online.
