Rocco

Composer, conductor and music educator Rocco started playing the trumpet at the age of 7. He is currently working in most Music Services across North London as a conductor, A-level and GCSE composition tutor and music technology specialist.
He`s Associate Conductor of Orchestras for All.

Qualifications:
-Classical trumpet Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor plus Master - ISCED 7), Conservatorium of Lucca, Italy (completed 2005)
- EU funded Sound Engineering course (1200 hours) in Florence, Italy (completed 2006)
- BMus Jazz Trumpet, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Netherlands (completed 2012)
- MA Music Education, UCL-Institute of Education, London (completed 2015)

- First lesson -
The first lesson is normally used to understand what the student wants. Understanding the needs, expectations and passion of the student is a priority. The student will be given access to a shared remote folder containing audio files, scores, videos and links. Rocco`s approach is to find the most enjoyable approach to learning and that normally happens through a repertoire the student can relate to. The technical difficulties of the instrument are tackled through music rather than boring technical exercises.
