RECENT OXFORD MATHEMATICS GRADUATE from Exeter College where I read for a Masters. I received Upper Second Class Honours in both my first three years (BA) and final year (MMath).

I was educated at Kingswood School, Bath where I was an Academic Scholar, and took my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Music.

I can offer tutoring in the sciences and specialising in mathematics and physics as well as full university application guidance, from personal statement through to interviews (especially Oxbridge).

Beyond the academic, I am an overly keen sportsman, being a Full Blue athlete and representing Oxford in four consecutive Varsity Matches as well as winning national medals and holding several University relay records. I also enjoy playing football, rugby and hockey and represented England in orienteering when I was in school.

I also have a passion for skiing which I indulged in through my gap year and am currently in my second year running the Varsity Trip (a joint Oxford and Cambridge ski trip - the largest of its kind in the world). Beyond the physical activities, I also have a love for all kinds of music and play bass guitar in a band in Oxford.

Experience: I have tutored extensively since my time at Oxford, helping students at a wide spectrum of levels ranging from core mathematics modules at A-level to dissertation level statistics for analysing data within the real estate markets.

I have done a large amount of work with students applying to Oxbridge for mathematics, engineering and related sciences. This has involved comprehensive coaching through each step of the process from personal statement preparation to entrance examination and interview help (I have performed mock Oxbridge interviews for a number of years).

I believe providing an individual plan for each student so that we are able to target areas for improvement and effectively use our time together to tackle these. I find that establishing relationship based off identifying such areas setting ambitious, but achievable goals will quickly translate to positive results. Most of all, I feel that teaching with passion and real enthusiasm for your subject is the best method of approach and I hope to demonstrate this in all of my tutoring.
