I`m a 21 year-old pianist and drummer, with a passion for music education. I began playing the piano at the age of 10, and my musical development hasn`t slowed down since!
I have a wealth of performance experience; starting out as a classical pianist, I then went on to study jazz in Norway, performing on a weekly basis in a jazz trio and a funk band, both as a pianist and drummer. Some of my concerts have had an audience of 5,000+.

Experience: I have been playing the piano for 11 years, teaching for the last 5 (from the age of 16), and have recently taken on drum students. My students have ranged from the age of 9 up to 30+, some with learning difficulties. I`ve also led children`s orchestra practice and rehearsal while I was a student in Norway, as well as holding rhythm and percussion seminars for young people.

I take a very fun and practical approach to teaching music, whilst insuring technical ability and theory is developed to a high standard. I also take this approach to teaching music theory, as I believe the best way of learning is by doing. I teach in a such a way that the student develops as a well rounded musician, competent in note reading, theory, performance, playing in an ensemble/band, playing different styles and playing by ear.
