I am a second year graduate medical student studying at The University of Warwick. I entered the course from an arts background, having studied music at The University of Cambridge and The University of Sussex.

Although my first degree is in Music, I have a solid background in academic science. I have just finished my second year of medical school, coming in the top decile in all my written papers. I have A-Levels in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

I am an enthusiastic tutor with a deep commitment to education. I enjoy mixing and evolving my styles of teaching and learning - not least because I am a student again - and I believe this helps me teach effectively.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and some weekends.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: From 2014-2016, I was employed as teacher of music at St John`s School, Leatherhead. Whilst at St John`s, I designed and delivered the school`s 4th Form music curriculum as well as teaching GCSE and A-Level Music. As such, I am well placed to identify key learning areas/objectives as well as aiding a student`s comprehension of a subject.

A further facet of my position at St John`s was the management of a tutor group, in which a key role was preparing pupils for university applications and entrance exams: including Oxbridge.

At Warwick, I am involved in student teaching initiatives in medicine and I will begin tutoring first year medical students from September 2017.
