Hi, I`m Anamika, a dedicated tutor with a passion for guiding students towards academic excellence. I aim to tutor students from Key Stage 2 to GCSE level, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their academic goals.

In addition to my expertise in core subjects, I bring a unique perspective to the table as a fourth-year dental student. I understand the challenges students face in navigating their educational journey, especially when it comes to preparing for university. I offer personalised guidance to aspiring students, assisting them in understanding the intricacies of university admissions and providing invaluable insights into the dental school application process.

My approach to tutoring is centered on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student`s needs, and I am committed to empowering my students to succeed.

My current availability is weekdays in the evenings after 5pm and weekends.

Experience: Working in mainly tutoring jobs throughout my professional career has been a rewarding experience; being able to see the difference in understanding of the students I have taught has felt extremely empowering. As a current student, I’ve been an avid user of tutoring, and can fully understand the power it to aid and educate individuals on a personalised level. My teaching philosophy centers around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment, where every student feels empowered to reach their full potential. I am dedicated to making learning a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all my students, regardless of their age or academic level.

With a diverse background in education, I have had the privilege of working with students across various age groups and academic levels. I`ve been tutoring for a few years, where I`ve had experience tutoring students from ages from 4-18, focusing on personalised guidance with English and Maths for students at a young age, then moving on to older students, including those preparing for A-level examinations. Through these experiences, I developed strong communication skills and gained valuable insights into engaging and motivating young learners. I have successfully navigated through the complexities of GCSE and A-level content in mathematics and the sciences, providing tailored support to help students excel in their studies.

In addition to tutoring, I practised the martial art of Taekwondo for 12 years, where I was fortunate enough to teach students in ranks below me, and I`m also a current dental school mentor. Being a mentor to the students in the year below me at dental school has kept me committed to helping my mentees and enthusiastic about supporting them and sharing my knowledge that I’ve gained over the years.
