I am very passionate about teaching and learning and I believe that successful teaching begins by ensuring that the correct ‘climate for learning’ is there. Students should feel excited about their science education and we should feel excited to teach them. Completing a teaching degree has equipped me with the skills and knowledge of how to create that climate for learning and ensure that every student can make outstanding progress. Teaching and learning is always at the forefront of my mind and I ensure I keep my teaching practice fresh. It is important to stay up to date with different teaching techniques to ensure students are getting the best possible teaching which is exactly what they deserve.

I pride myself on being able to form mutually respected and well valued relationships with parents and students alike. I believe good communication and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively provides the key for success.
