Information about Sam
I have been tutoring for more than five years and have given over 500 hours of lessons.
I have taught students sitting GCSEs, A levels, and university finals, and the feedback I receive from both parents and students has always been very positive.
I have also worked part-time in schools, teaching Years 8, 9, 10 and 11, as well as for various educational charities.
I graduated with First Class Honours in Maths and Philosophy from the University of Bristol, and more recently completed a Masters in Legal and Political Theory at UCL.
I am friendly, confident and patient, and keen to ensure that no topic is left uncovered or unsure.
Having recently been through school and university exams myself, I am particularly well-equipped to guide students through the exam mark schemes of today. The rigidity of these can so often cause bright pupils who haven`t stuck to the desired mark scheme closely enough to perform poorly.
