I graduated in 2003 from Keele University with a BA (Dual Hons) in History and International Politics. I did my PGCE at Aberystwyth University in 2004. Since 2004, I have taught History in 2 comprehensive`s in West Yorkshire. I am currently a Head of History and have been since April 2022.

Experience: I have been a History teacher since 2004, 21.5 years. I have worked in comprehensive schools and have been a Head of History at my current school since 2022. I am an examiner for the Weimar & Nazi Germany unit with Edexcel. I am most experienced with teaching the medicine unit, Elizabethan unit, the American West unit and the Germany unit - all with Edexcel. I also have experience with teaching the Cold War and Normans unit. I know what it takes to succeed on the History exams, with lots of exam skills and revision ideas to support students.
