I am a fully qualified, English trained Secondary Mathematics teacher. I have gained significant experience of teaching Mathematics right across the age and ability spectrum and have a proven track record of being able to engage, motivate and inspire students, particularly those who lack confidence. As a GCSE Mathematics Examiner I am extremely familiar with the demands of the GCSE examination and feel that I am well placed to support the students I work with to realise their full potential. I also have some experience of primary maths having worked with local feeder primary schools on extending gifted pupils, completed a term as a Y6 HLTA and Maths specialist and having been a Mathematics Examiner for the National SATs exams undertaken by Year 6 children.

Availability: I have very limited availability remaining, primarily on the weekend.

Experience: In addition to being an experienced private tutor, I have a wide range of class teaching experience in English state schools throughout the past ten years. I am currently teaching full time within the hospital school sector, working with an extremely wide range of learners within the primary and secondary age range. Prior to this I taught at a variety of mainstream settings, including an outstanding girls grammar school in Newport, Shropshire, an academy school in Salisbury and a community comprehensive school in Reading, Berkshire where I qualified and achieved Qualified Teacher Status.
Furthermore, I am an experienced GCSE Mathematics Examiner for Pearson (Edexcel). Last year I also marked the National SATs examinations for Year 6 students so I have a thorough understanding of the requirements.
