I am a fun and dedicated young lady currently teaching Year 5 for the second year running following two successful years teaching Year 3 and a year in Year 4. I gained a 2:1 in Education and Childhood studies at Anglia Ruskin University leading onto an outstanding in QTS at Brighton University. I am keen to think of inventive ways of teaching to personalise learning. I have experience with behavioral needs as well as special educational needs.

Experience: I have been a tutor previously to pupils in Year 2-6. I am currently a Year 5 teacher, with experience in special educational needs. I am fun and organised and happy to prepare personalised resources to suit each individuals needs. I have had experience with learning and behavioral needs and have been successful with supporting all children. My aim is to encourage and support children to allow them to progress to their best ability.
I am able to tutor at your house as well as virtually.

Leah has been tutoring my son weekly for the last 4 years in English and Maths, supporting from KS2 into KS3. She quickly established a connection with my son, who completely lacked any confidence at school complicated by specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia. Leah is extremely patient and flexible in her approach, and has tailored the learning to my son`s needs and learning style in both subjects. His understanding and confidence increased enormously and we highly recommend her.

Leah has been really helpful from the first point of contact up till present day. She has helped my son no end and has built he`s confidence. My son loves he`s session with Leah and always seems to be happy once they are finished. I would highly recommend Leah, she has been very understanding, she is very organised with lessons an work and makes it fun.
