I’m a dedicated QTS-qualified teacher with broad experience across mainstream and specialist education. My teaching approach is creative and inclusive — I tailor every lesson to each learner’s strengths, helping them gain confidence, independence and genuine enjoyment in learning.

Experience: I’m a qualified teacher with a degree in English and American Literature (2:1, University of East Anglia) and a Primary PGCE from UCL. I have over two years of experience in mainstream education, including teaching Year 5, alongside extensive experience in SEND settings. This includes teaching in a KS1 and KS2 ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) supporting pupils with autism and complex needs, as well as three years working in an independent SEND school.
Alongside my teaching qualifications, I hold an NPQLL in Leading Literacy and a Level 3 TEFL certification. I have also been a private tutor for over 10 years, supporting students across primary and secondary phases. I specialise in English, teaching up to GCSE and A-Level, with experience preparing students for 11+ entrance exams, including developing reading comprehension, creative writing, and exam technique. At primary level, I teach all core subjects up to KS3.
I have strong experience supporting GCSE students in English Language and Literature, helping them to develop analytical writing, exam confidence, and secure progress against assessment objectives. My 11+ preparation focuses on building core literacy skills, vocabulary, and reasoning strategies tailored to each learner.
My teaching is driven by a commitment to creating engaging, inclusive lessons that meet each learner’s individual needs and help them thrive.
