QTS-qualified teacher with experience across primary, secondary and special educational needs, in both mainstream and specialist schools. I create supportive, engaging lessons that build confidence, strengthen key skills and help every student make real progress.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with a degree in English and American Literature (2.1, University of East Anglia) and a Primary PGCE from UCL. I have 2 years of experience in mainstream schools, including a year and a half in Year 5 at Grange Primary in Ealing, and 5 years working in SEND settings. My experience includes working in an ARP autistic unit at Drayton Green Primary School and teaching Year 1 in a mainstream school in Ruislip.

In addition to my teaching qualifications, I hold an NPQLL qualification in leading literacy and a TEFL Level 3 certification. I’ve been a private tutor since completing my degree, specializing in primary and secondary English, while teaching primary across all other subjects.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), which gave me valuable insights into student needs and support. My focus is on creating tailored, engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
