Experience: I have 30 years experience as a full time teacher of English, from Key stage 3 to 5. I have a particular specialism in A level tuition of English literature/Language as well as GCSE. I also tutor for the entrance exam at 11+ for KES,KEHS,EHS and Solihull School. I also tutor for the Oxbridge entry exam and Creative Writing to A level. I have experience of tutoring home schooled students and can offer expertise in this area.
I am currently an examiner for GCSE and A level English.
I am also employed by the national charity TalentED to work with gifted and talented children.
I can also undertake proof reading(dissertations, UCAS, assignments etc).

I hold a BA(hons) degree in English, a Master`s degree in modern literature and a PGCE teaching qualification. I also have an up to date CRB check as well as safeguarding training.
