James is a well organised, friendly and committed tutor with over 7 years experience teaching GCSE and A-Level (Maths & Physics) in schools and as a private tutor. James is a space scientist specialising in spacecraft design and has worked on two NASA projects and currently works at the Space Sciences Laboratory.

James starting tutoring my son for gcse in maths in February a few months before exams. My son had been very ill on and off for 2 years and although he had a strong base, he was behind as he missed a lot of classes with important informations and no extra classes to catch up. We started with once a week and moved on 2 hours until exams. James was reliable, trustworthy, kind and patient. My son liked the way he made it easy to understand and felt comfortable to ask questions when needed and gave him the confidence to aim for high results. He got a 6 but could easily got a 7. So thank you James who has made a negative situation to a very positive one.
