I am a former research scientist with a degree in Biochemistry (BSc Hons Dundee University) and a PhD in Molecular Genetics (Oxford University).
I am available to tutor science from KS3 to A level with a biology specialism.
As a qualified secondary school science teacher (PGCE Edge Hill), and a mother of three High School aged children myself, I am aware of many of the difficulties faced by students attempting secondary school qualifications.
I am confident that suitable, individually tailored solutions to these issues will be found, in order to attain the best possible outcome.

Janet has been very enthusiastic and has helped my daughter gain confidence with her A level Biology. She has helped to fill in the gaps and explain certain areas of the course which have been difficult. Janet is punctual, approachable and professional. She teaches my daughter online and sends past paper questions by email for her to work on then goes through them in the lesson. I would recommend her to others.
