Hola, I am a Spanish national who has been living in the UK for almost 18 years now. I am a specialist Teacher of Spanish and I am also a Tutor of this subject. Being a native I can teach at all levels.

I hold QTS in Spanish as my specialist subject. I have a clear and neutral accent and perfect Grammar and Spelling.

As well as having a true native command of Spanish, I have a DBS certificate, which is absolutely necessary for Teachers and normally Tutors do not have one. This is basically an official confirmation that I have no criminal past and have passed controls before working with children. My last DBS is dated May 2020 and is checked every year.

For the first free lesson, we can meet at a coffee place or a pub close to my area. This will give us a chance to get to know each other, and you can tell me about your needs and expectations. I will then personalise my lessons to what you need. Please keep in mind that you pay TutorHunt for my details, not me. A tea for my time during that first lesson would be very much appreciated.

COVID: Due to the pandemic, I am not travelling. The lessons are limited to our last room, with direct access from the garden. No refreshments or access to other rooms, including toilet, apologies. There will be a hand sanitizer gel to be used as soon as you arrive and again when you leave. I will wear a visor/face shield so you can still clearly see my face and hear and my pronunciation. A similar device would be appreciated, as I am asthmatic. Please bring correct amount of money for the lesson, and please be punctual. Thank you.

My place is close to the Northampton School for Boys. Bus stops for bus 5,1,16, 51, 53, 54, X4 Gold, X46 Gold and X47 Gold are all about 10 minutes from my place.

I can offer teaching to small groups at a discount per head, not more than 3 people (children or adults) of similar level. Please note that I will not be the one creating the group, and that the reduced price per head is applicable whilst the group exists. If you start as part of a group and later on the numbers are reduced, the price per head will logically be revised.

For School/ College students: PLEASE send me an email at least 24 hours in advance with an indication of what you have seen at your lessons. It is more effective to help you follow your lessons and making sure that you understand your main Teacher than me giving you a lot of new material adding to the lot. I will only add in order to help secure the topics once your Teacher`s requirements are met. Tutoring is a complement of teaching and I try to help you with your subject. No, I won`t make your homework for you, but I will help you understand and make it by yourself.
