I am a mathematics tutor with a first-class MMath degree from the University of Warwick and a PhD in Mathematical Physics from Heriot-Watt University. I achieved A*A*A at A-level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, and I enjoy helping students build both confidence and strong problem-solving skills.

I aim to provide a friendly and informal environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and discussing difficulties, while still maintaining a professional approach. My experience with degree-level and research-level mathematics has taught me that genuine understanding is the key to learning, rather than memorisation alone. My goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of concepts, enabling them to build confidence and achieve their full potential academically.

Experience: I have experience tutoring A-level students, and I have also taught extensively at university level as a teaching assistant in subjects including linear algebra, analysis, geometry, and mathematics for engineers. In addition, I helped run — and later led — a university “Maths Gym”, where students from across the university could receive drop-in support and 1-to-1 help with mathematical problems.
