Information about Sarah
**** UPDATE. I am currently offering online as well as face to face lessons. In addition catch clinics in Maths will be available as a group session if this is more financially viable*****
Hi I am a dedicated mother of three all of whom attend Grammar schools after I successfully tutored them through the perils of both the Kent and Medway tests. in addition I have a BSc Hons in Accounting and Finance and a MSc in Microbiology. I firmly believe education is the key to a successful life and all children should have the chance to succeed. Having worked in a grammar school for the past 11 years I see the chances it offers and so I am very enthusiastic about bringing out the potential to experience such high level teaching. I am also a very calm and nurturing individual, encouraging learners to believe in themselves and so I offer all levels of primary English and Maths whether the end goal is 11+ success or otherwise.
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: A few years ago my friend begged me to take on her children and help them be successful in the 11+ tests to which I agreed. Since those early days I have taken only a couple of students each year so that I can really get to know them and the way they learn. I have taught many of my friends and neighbours children as well as taking on a pupils through recommendations. In addition I have also tutored KS3 students in the grammar school that need a 1-1 environment to succeed. At present I have a 100% success rate in those wishing to sit the 11+ entrance tests.
In addition I am now tutoring Year3-6 on line during this pandemic helping children catch up on missed months of essential education.
