Information about Thuy Nhi
An experienced Maths (GCSE and A Level) Tutor who enjoys helping students reach their full potential and achieve their predicted grades.
My classes involve going through the theory where I explain the concepts in a clear and concise manner and then help my students go through lots of practice questions. I provide ever challenging problems for them to solve so that they develop their skills and competence in each topic. I have high expectations of my students and believe that practice makes perfect. That said, I provide my students with homework which is marked and feedback given as to how they can improve. I am patient, thorough and work very hard with my students to address all areas of weakness ensuring that they are knowledgeable, focussed and prepared for the exam.
Availability: I am also available during Easter for intensive courses.

Thuy tutored our son for GCSE maths for around 2 years. Thuy was very supportive and all lessons and homework were very well structured. Our son gained a grade 9 all thanks to Thuy’s help. We can highly recommend Thuy for GCSE maths tuition!!

I would highly recommend Thuy Nhi as a maths tutor. My son was at times struggling with maths in school and I was concerned about his future prospects. However, after just a few months of tutoring we saw a dramatic improvement in his confidence and depth of understanding of the subject. He was able to answer questions that he had previously struggled with and not get as flustered as before. Thuy Nhi is a diligent, patient and knowledgeable tutor who is able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way. She is also great at identifying the specific areas where a student is struggling and developing a personalised learning plan and homework focus areas. As a direct result of tutoring, my son was able to achieve beyond where he was originally expected to perform in his exams. I am so grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a maths tutor.

She is a very organised experience and efficient tutor which shines through. My daughter has been studying A’Level Maths with her for a few weeks now and seems to be gaining confidence and knowledge and is happy to attend her sessions.
