Laura

I have a BA in English Literature and Language from the University of Oxford. After graduating, I spent a year volunteering with refugee solidarity projects in Athens, Greece, where I taught English to both children and adults. I have since worked for two years at a political communications agency, and am currently studying for a MA in Human Rights at Sciences Po, Paris.

I did A Levels in English Literature, French and History, and spent 6 months during my gap year working as an au pair in Paris. Whilst at school, I was heavily involved in music: I gained a merit in my grade 8 piano during 2013. During 6th form, I had a Saturday job at JASSPA, and continued to work during university holidays for the South London Youth Orchestra.

Availability: 7 days a week, online.

Experience: Whilst working as an au pair in France, I gave English lessons to the children I was looking after. I have helped with music and drama tuition whilst working at JASSPA (a youth performing arts school). I have also helped many family friends with university applications.

While living in Athens, I worked as a teaching assistant for adult A2 English classes, in addition to beginner`s English classes. I also worked with several students on a 1:1 basis, giving both written and oral tuition according to their specific needs.
