I am a lively, bubbly and enthusiastic person. I always go above and beyond for my pupils.

My main aim is to make lessons fun and enjoyable while ma learning not feel like learning at all. I feel that by being a younger teacher it allows me to be able to communicate much easier with my pupils, allowing an excellent friendship and wor relationship to form.

I have had my fair share of (lower than average) teachers, which has allowed me to see exactly how not to teach!

I take any ideas and thoughts from my pupils on board and let them have as much say and choice in the lessons as possible.

I cover all styles of music unless my pupils decide they dislike something. If this happens I tailor the lessons to suite them as much as possible.

I do not feel that exams are not essential but they are something to aim for, so again I leave this decision to my pupils, I simply say when they are ready to take them.

If you do not have a flute or saxophone you are welcome to use mine for the first couple of lessons, until you are sure that the lessons are going to be continued. After this it is easy to hire an instrument or buy a new one or a second hand one.

I am also CRB checked and have completed a child safe guarding qualification.

Experience: I started teaching flute and alto saxophone lessons ten years ago. In this time my pupils have all passed all their exams.

With my university course being a performing course as well as a teaching course, I have gained a large insight into different teaching techniques which many teachers may not even think about.
