Information about Maria Laura
Experienced and creative teacher of Spanish, Art and Chinese Painting.
I am professional and reliable with a sense of humour. I prepare the lessons according to student’s needs, objectives and learning styles.
Availability: I am available for face to face or online lessons. I am based in Durham, UK.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught Spanish as a foreign language to English and Japanese students.
I prepare the lessons according to the student’s needs, objectives and learning styles. Besides being a Spanish teacher, I got a degree in Fine Arts, I studied Japanese Studies and I specialised in traditional Chinese ink painting called sumi-e. All this background gave me a cultural perspective when I teach. Learning a new language you can learn about a different culture and another way of thinking and living.
