Information about Sophie
I have been teaching for nine years and currently work in a secondary school, making me a qualified professional. I have been Head of Religious Studies for four years now, which has allowed me to work with all types of students. I have a current and up to date CRB as required in the profession. I am a dedicated and approachable person who likes to see young people achieve their best. Making my tutoring sessions enjoyable as well as challenging makes learning more effective.
My aim is to help pupils attain the most they possibly can. Having access to a range of materials, such as past exam papers and revision guides, allows me to do this. I also mark exam papers professionally, therefore have an in depth knowledge of what examiners are looking for in exams. Alongside this I have written the content on BBC Bitesize RE Edexcel.

Experience: I am currently Head of Religious Education and PSHE, I also have experience of teaching geography. I am also an exam marker for OCR, Edexcel, Edquas and WJEC Religious Studies. Alongside this I have also tutored students who have sat Religious Studies AQA.

Sophie has been teaching my son since September and in such a short space of time, there have been significant improvements in his A level grade for Theology. He has really enjoyed her lessons and found them incredibly useful. I would heartily recommend her.

Excellent tutor- can’t recommend highly enough, always punctual, friendly and willing to do anything to help. Definitely worth the money as she will help you to get a much better grade.
