I am a qualified English teacher, with over 2 years experience. I hold a History B.A. (Hons) 2:1, with a 1st in dissertation on French History.
I have worked in the NGO sector for 6 years, with postings in Israel, Burma and London, working on issues including Land Rights, Indigenous Rights, Refugee and Asylum Seekers, Access to Information, Democracy and Governance and other issues relevant to Human Rights and International Development.

I am currently working on a PhD proposal, on the Spanish Civil War.

I offer the first lesson at half price, but encourage discussion around how the lessons should be structured and collaborative process of learning.

- European History, from social and political from 1929-1990:

Including:
Spanish Civil War and after (1936 onwards)
German history: Weimar Republic, Nazi Germany, Second World War and post-war Germany, including Soviet Germany and reunification (1919-1991)
French history: French occupation, Vichy government, Resistance, Free France, de Gaulle, immigration (1940-1989).

Russian history:
Bolshevik Revolution, Civil War, Stalinisation, Cold War (1915-1990).

Israeli history (1925-1990).

Polite Society and Culture, 1700-1820s.

In terms of teaching, I have experience teaching both classes, and one to ones.
