I am a history teacher currently in post at a local school offering GCSE and A level tuition. I believe being in post allows me to be up to date with the most recent challenges facing students with new specifications.

I am committed to pupils reaching their true potential and have previously undertaken the role of progress leader. This allowed me to see the barriers to learning that students face. I was able to work directly with pupils to help them improve and reach their potential.

I enjoy making learning engaging and have been consistently judged to be an outstanding teacher. I believe by building relationships and giving pupils meaningful feedback means they can achieve.

Availability: Weekends and some evenings (Tuesday Thursday Friday)

Experience: I have been teaching History for 16 years. I have taught a variety of exam boards including Edexcel and OCR. I have experience of tutoring AQA the Tudors and America with a specific focus on exam technique.

I have also been examiner for the OCR board allowing me to see exactly what the pupils need to do to achieve the top level.
