I am an experienced tutor covering:
* GSCE and A-Level Mathematics and Physics
* Maths content in uni courses such as comp. science, economics, business or biology
* Foundational maths skills
* Teacher training maths entrance tests
I take a confidence building approach, helping you break down the needs of the course to achieve your goals.
My rates are £50 per hour and I travel out to the student. I have a current Enhanced DBS certificate and both level 1 and 2 Safeguarding and Protecting Children certificates (I am also a Badminton coach).

My 18 year old has only had a few A level maths lessons with Joe. However, Joe has really helped already with improving confidence by going over past papers and the one to one teaching is invaluable. Joe is very friendly and approachable and obviously very knowledgeable. Thanks.

As an adult learner who hasn`t done physics or the related algebra in over 15 years I found myself overwhelmed when taking on further study for my career (Diploma in Brewing, Module 3). Joe`s down-to-earth and practical approach to both learning and the exam strategies has helped me build knowledge and confidence in myself and my education. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jo has been tutoring my son now for about 1 month and so far he has been great.! My son was really opposed to having additional lessons but Jo takes a very pragmatic approach and has been really supportive. We have even seen an improvement in my sons Physics grades already so in my opinion well worth every penny. Nice guy as well...would certainly reccomend.
