Hi! I’m Owen, a qualified teacher and online language tutor currently based in Cardiff. I hold a French degree and am a first language Welsh speaker. I teach French and Welsh second language.

Availability: My current teaching hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 4-8. However, I am looking to open up daytime hours in the future. I am also happy to consider flexible hours where possible to suit your schedule.

Experience: I hold a French degree and have 5 years experience as a French teacher and tutor. I`ve spent time studying and working in France, giving me first-hand experience with the language and culture. I`m also a native Welsh speaker and I studied the language at A level.

I teach French from KS3 to A-Level, and I’m familiar with WJEC/Eduqas, AQA, and Edexcel exam boards. Whether you need help with speaking, writing, reading, or listening, I tailor my lessons to meet your individual needs, focusing on the skills and topics that will most improve your performance. I can also share my lesson notes, which can be used as valuable revision materials to reinforce learning outside of lessons. For exam preparation, I provide targeted support with past papers, exam techniques, and mark-boosting vocabulary to help you achieve the best results.

I have also recently started providing Welsh lessons to friends and relatives who are adult beginners. My lessons cover everyday topics and I follow a coursebook ensuring language patterns are studied in a structured and step by step manner.
