I am a fully qualified A level and GCSE teacher of Biology and Chemistry. My degree is in Zoology with biochemistry from Manchester University. I qualified with a PGCE from Southampton University. I have worked within the medical and pharmaceutical industry for ten years giving me considerable ability to apply the knowledge to different situations.
I offer friendly and supportive tuition in Biology and Chemistry up to A level standard.
Students find my one to one sessions insightful and my explanations simple and to the point.
I use considerable exam question resources to aid students in understanding how to interpret the questions and thus give a more appropriate answer to gain maximum marks.

Availability: I am still teaching 4 days a week, but am available Fridays, some evenings and Saturday mornings.
I offer online teaching during the Covid Lockdown which has been well received.

Experience: I have 23 years of teaching experience and 3 years experience as an exam marker.
I teach both Biology and Chemistry for GCSE and A level.
Some of my students have gone on to medical courses and veterinary courses at high profile universities where very high grades were needed.
