I am an enthusiastic and supportive tutor available to tutor students in Humanities in the Cambridge area. I am able to tutor up to A-Level in Latin, Greek, English and History, with the capacity to help in other subjects up to GCSE level if required.
I like to bring a personalised approach to working with students, identifying their needs and goals at the start of our time together and checking in against those goals as we progress.
Having studied Classics at Oxford, I am a proponent of encouraging independent thought in students and teaching skills that they can use across their subjects to improve performance. I am also keen to work with students specifically on exam techniques to help them cope with the pressures of the testing environment.
My experience both in the corporate sector and at Oxford also allows me to coach candidates for university applications, including personal statements, interviews and admissions tests.

NB: I tutor Classical Greek, not Modern Greek (system doesn`t allow me to specify!)

Availability: I currently work full time so have to fit tutoring in around my work commitments, which means usually weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: For the past two years I have managed three new graduates in Unilever, a large multinational, from their entry to the business, through their first placement. This has included teaching business functions, programme training, personal development and professional interaction. This has given me extensive experience working closely one on one with juniors, helping them to achieve their goals.
I have a degree in Classics from University College Oxford, top grade A-Levels in French, Latin, Ancient Greek, History and English, and 11 A* GCSEs across all standard subjects, so I have a huge amount of experience in taking and preparing for exams.
Having been through the Oxford admissions process, and won a place on a competitive graduate scheme, I am also in the position to coach candidates for interviews and help with applications for University or school admissions.
