I am a positive, friendly and engaging person, who is patient and always tries to understand why someone could be struggling. I believe that I would make a good tutor because I am dedicated and strive to achieve the best results that I can. I know that some things can not be taught in the classroom and believe that it is important for students to take more time to engage with and familiarise themselves with the subject outside of school hours. I would aim to make my students feel comfortable and confident; getting them to a point where they are independently motivated and genuinely interested in what they are studying. Having only recently left school means I have been through the modern education system, allowing me to know what is required of students and how formal examinations work.

Experience: Having studied english for my whole school career I feel that I have transferable experience and a broad knowledge of the subject. My main passion is for English literature, which I chose to study at A level, but I have a good understanding of English language, receiving an A* in it at IGCSE and would be willing to teach it if were required. I have helped classmates and siblings with their work and believe that I am a coherent and interesting tutor.
