Information about Maria
I am a qualified rugby coach, living in Nottingham but also coaching at Loughborough University. I have worked in a variety of settings including primary, secondary and special schools. I completed a BSc degree in Geography and Sports Science at Loughborough University. As well as four A-Levels: Geography, History, Physical Education and General Studies. And 13 GCSE`s in a range of subjects.
I am also undergoing an assessor qualification which enables me to assess work of varying levels and standards within my specialist subject areas.
I love teaching, coaching and tutoring and understand the importance of having a patient, caring and encouraging tutor/teacher. I have worked in a variety of settings which has helped with my understanding of different individuals and their learning styles. As well as supporting pupils with additional needs.
Availability: Morning, afternoon and some early evenings and weekends. School holiday availability.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: Started tutoring this year as I love to work 1:1 or in small groups to see the development of students. I have experience in a wide range of schools including special schools, specialising in geography and sports science (physical education).
