Peter

Hello! I’m Peter and I’m an experienced primary teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years, with most of that time spent in Year 6 preparing children for their Key Stage 2 SATs. I currently teach in Year 6, so I have an up-to-date, as well as a longstanding understanding of the demands of the curriculum. Driving up standards, I pride myself in identifying misconceptions and then addressing them through an extensive subject knowledge. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a child develop the confidence to succeed. I am very lucky to be in such a rewarding vocation I thoroughly enjoy and I am extremely passionate about it. Excellence, enjoyment and fun should always be at the heart of learning and this should be built upon a professional, trusting teacher-child relationship.
I offer one-to-one tuition in Key Stage 2 maths, English writing and English reading - ideal in preparation for SATs and preparation for secondary school!
