I have been playing guitar for 14 years and teaching music for 3 years. I have been involved in a variety of different bands and ensembles within that time. My main focus throughout this time has been all kinds of rock music but I also have lots of experience in metal and acoustic singer/songwriter styles. I qualified from Leeds College of Music, gaining a 2:1 degree in Music Production and Performance, and possess a passion for music and teaching. I have recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Music at Edge Hill University, achieving a Distinction in the process.

Availability: Anytime during the week and Saturday mornings.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I take a very professional approach to teaching and I usually like to start the students off with a song to allow them to enjoy playing immediately. No matter what their ability I find a student is always able to learn a song they know and progresses faster with this approach. I can take you all the way from a very beginner to advanced levels. I take a practical and direct approach and would expect the student to be involved from the very beginning.
